The goal of a Pre-Purchase Inspection is to protect the consumer from buying someone else's problems. We will give you a written unbiased report identifying any problems that we find at the time of the inspection. Today many people are mistaken in thinking that a certified vehicle or a history report is a substitute for a Pre-Purchase Inspection. A history report is not always fully accurate and the history of a vehicle can be changed. A history report can be a useful tool, but it is not a substitute for an inspection. Certified vehicles are checked by the dealers own biased service department. A Pre-Purchase Used Car Inspection can help to protect you, the consumer, from unscrupulous dealers and individuals selling vehicles with: Frame Damage, Body Damage, Interior Damage, Paint Work, Mechanical Problems, Electrical Problems, Lack of Maintenance, Leaks, unreported collision repairs, flood damage, and many other problems and issues we see everyday. We want you to have confidence in buying your next used vehicle. If we find issues we can inform you with costs of repairs if any are needed and give you a valuable bargaining tool with the seller. So call us today to schedule a appointment, It will be one of the smartest decisions you will make when buying a used car. we can come to you or you can bring the car to us! 727-397-3788

THE INSPECTION

If you found a car your considering purchasing and it is in good condition, negotiate the price subject to the inspection of a professional mechanic. At this point you can enlist Calibey Performance to give a diagnosis of the condition of the car. The mechanic's inspection will cover the fluids, brakes, electrical systems, cooling system, suspension, engine/exhaust, HVAC, tires, and body. The mechanic will scan the car's various computers for trouble codes and test drive the vehicle, checking for any hidden problems. Should the mechanic discover any problems, he can estimate repair costs and you can use these for further negotiations with the seller. This way you can have complete peace of mind about the car you are buying.

What to Do With the Report

A glowing report should facilitate the sale of the car, and make both the buyer and seller feel more at ease with the transaction.

A report that uncovers some minor flaws can be used as a bargaining tool to lower the price. Or, you can insist that the seller take care of the issues before you pay the asking price.

A troublesome report, meanwhile, should make you reconsider the purchase, unless the seller is willing to fix all the problems, or you’re adept at car repairs and the seller lowers the price accordingly.

Thinking about buying a used car? Always have a used car inspected by a qualified mechanic before buying it.

That’s one bit of advice that almost all car experts agree on.

Why? Because doing so can uncover hidden problems, protect you from unexpected repairs, enhance your safety, and possibly lower the purchase price.
